Très attendus à l’orée de leur deuxième album, Radio Elvis passe déjà sans encombre le cap du premier single, avec la chanson titre Ces Garçons-là.

Auréolés d’une victoire de la musique pour leur premier album, le trio français a préparé son retour avec une vidéo réalisée par le talentueux Morgan Simon. Comme pour le dernier clip de Christine And The Queens, le sujet esthétisant de la corrida est utilisé et c’est très réussi :

Dans ce film, j’ai voulu questionner l’idée d’un rite de passage, d’une pression patriarcale vers l’âge adulte que l’on ne peut pas tous accomplir, d’un malaise, celui de la fin de l’enfance. J’ai voulu filmer la sensibilité d’un jeune homme au cœur d’un milieu cerné par le masculin. Ce que l’on peut désigner comme l’apparente virilité. / Eagerly awaited at the beginning of their second album, Radio Elvis has already passed the cap of the first single, with the title song Ces Garçons-là.

In this film, I wanted to question the idea of a rite of passage, of a patriarchal pressure towards adulthood that we cannot all accomplish, of a malaise, that of the end of childhood. I wanted to film the sensibility of a young man in the middle of a male-dominated world. What we can call apparent manhood.
