Loss’. “I woke up with them in my head,” he says, after excusing the notion for being slightly fanciful. “I don’t know where it came from – probably just some random subconscious memory – but they really informed the feel of the album.” This album sees Maps stepping out of the ‘bedroom’ into the big, wide world.
