Kalapna had a very different take on “Hapa haole” music. Very jazzy, Always liked Kalpana, and this album reminds me why. They were unlike other contemporary groups like C and K, Olomana, Beamers, Country Comfort, etc. Distinct vocals and powerful arrangements.
