On November 11th, 2022 Sine Music will be releasing the new album by Jonathan E. Blake called “Old Souls”. The album contains ten tracks and will be available in all well-known download stores and streaming services.”Shades of Life” is the first track on the album. And Jonathan E. Blake knows those shades all too well. He dedicated the song “My Dear Friend” to a friend of his. She died when she was only 37 years old. It’s experiences like these that make Jonathan E. Blake thoughtful and melancholic. He says: “For all my life I’ve been an old soul. I’ve always been ahead of my age: more reflective, thoughtful, melancholic and rich in life experience”. With this album he seeks to combine his musical roots with all the highs and lows of his life, expressed through an orchestral instrumentation and electronic elements like in modern movie scores. Hans Zimmer has therefor always been a huge source of inspiration.

A celebration of life’s highs is the song “The Awakening of Spring”. In its joyfulness you can feel the sun warm you and hear the twittering birds. Because no matter how many lows there were and are yet to come, never forget to enjoy life’s highs.
