Yet more buried treasure unearthed with this magnificent 3-CD set of previously unreleased recordings from the great jazz bassist/composer/bandleader Charles Mingus(1922-79) at Ronnie Scott’s Club on the evenings of August 14 & 15, 1972.

With Mingus(bass) were Bobby Jones(tenor sax, clarinet); Charles McPherson(alto sax); Jon Faddis(trumpet); John Foster(piano) & Roy Brooks(drums, musical saw) all in blistering form.
