My new album ‘The Generator of All Infinity’ is an instrumental concept album of sorts; fusing ambient space rock with 1970s UFO cult aesthetics. The album brings to a close a trilogy that began in 2017 with my album ‘Space’ followed by ‘Eternal’ in 2019. ‘The Generator of All Infinity’ returns to me to the moment in 1997 when I quit my indie rock band and started All India Radio, leaving distorted guitars behind. For better or worse I’ve now come full circle and re-embraced the sound I’d fallen out of love with. The cover art by Jesse Jacobi aka Pit of Bones masterfully channels a Hawkwind meets doom metal vibe which suits the music just fine. The album also marks the first time I’ve used an outside producer 17 years. Handing over your baby is a scary prospect but Joe Haley nailed it!
