You read that right, the Taiwan Brass! Recorded in January of 1966 in Minneapolis’ famed Kay Bank Studios, when Herb Alpert was arguably at his very best, this album had remained unissued until 2023. But, this album has nothing to do with Herb Alpert! As best we can guess, it was recorded to be released as a sound-a-like. It’s a wonderful mystery that sounds sounds summery and festive with either tequila or a “mai-Thai.”
