On his new album “Before And After”, Young approaches a completely eclectic collection of mostly obscure songs like a painter approaches a new color palette.From a wide range of his originals, Young selects favorites from his playbook, like a journey into his music history, and usually performs them alone, taking a solo acoustic journey to a new place. The individual songs merge into each other and form a continuous flow that adds up to a 48-minute, pure and intimate listening experience.
