Brahms ‘ three sonatas for violin and piano form an ensemble picked up in time, barely ten years between the first and the last. In these works, the mastered language is put at the service of Brahms poetry where his sensitivity to nature, his literary references and his personal introspection emerge.The ensemble de musique de chambre des Equilibres has commissioned three composers – Nicolas Bacri, Graciane Finzi and Philippe Hersant – to produce a work for piano and violin echoing Brahms’s Sonatas. With Agnès Pyka on violin and Laurent Wagschal on piano, the concerts of La Ferme du Buisson and L’église De Lognes will be the opportunity to hear these creations for the first time.
