In her album “Bach Unbuttoned”, Ana de la Vega brings together a group of exciting young soloists and the Württemberg Kammerer Heilbronn to present a lively and fresh look at Bach as a person and composer. The program includes Brandenburg Concertos No. 2, No. 4 and No. 5, a unique performance on the flute and oboe of the double violin concerto, as well as a breathtaking virtuoso badineria for flute.
Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg concertos were presented to Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg-Sweden on 24 March 1721. This album is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Bach’s monumental works.
