Featuring original new works by twelve outstanding Australian composers, Collective Wisdom is the latest Hush Foundation triumph.
The Hush National Composers-in-Residence project engaged six established composers to mentor six emerging composers in children’s hospitals across the country. They conducted residencies with adolescent patients with chronic illness and mental health conditions.
Inspired by this extraordinary experience, the composers have created a joyous album that will uplift, transport and delight listeners of all ages.
Recorded by the acclaimed ACO Collective, this is a glorious album that showcases the talent and passion of its participating composers and musicians, and shares the hope of the young people who inspired them.
