Destination Düsseldorf” is the brand new studio album from the legendary Scottish punk band Skids. The band cites Europe as a constant inspiration for this new LP, “…from the beauty of the Renaissance to the cruelty of many wars, the ups and downs have been a constant and ever-evolving influence. This new album follows in the footsteps of Days In Europa as a celebration of friendship and shared experiences.”Formed in 1977, the band, which was part of the first wave of punk, was the most important punk band of the time in Scotland, and also conquered the UK charts in 1979. The brains of the band were Stuart Adamson and Richard Jobson, who wrote much of the musical program. It was also Richard Jobson who was the only member to stay with the band until the end. Skids suffered from frequent member changes from the beginning. In total, they spent half a year in the British charts with various singles, the single Into the Valley entered the Top 10 and led to an appearance on Top of the Pops.
