The poetic universe that emerges from the blue color fascinates Pauline Buet and David Violi: the blue note, the blues at heart … This color evokes nostalgia, spleen, but also sweet melancholy, happy nostalgia. When the Yves Saint Laurent Museum offered them to make this recording at the Villa Majorelle in Marrakech, the magnificent resonance between the Blue Majorelle and this program was imposed naturally: Chopin, the romantic in love and Poulenc, the tormented eccentric.
