“This voice can do anything!” Mutzke has already impressively demonstrated his stylistic versatility with a successful jazz album and his last album MAX. For “Experience”, which was created to accompany a fantastic concert, Mutzke and Band teamed up with the NDR Radiophilharmonie, an orchestra that is at home both in classical and pop music. It was directed by Enrique Ugarte, in whose new arrangements the chosen songs gained completely new symphonic dimensions. The program included a mix of jazz, pop and soul songs with “World Behind Glass”, “You Are All Around Me”, “Here I Am Son”, “IOU”, “Magical”, “Our Night”, Not right, Marie, Creep, The Way We Were, Black on White, Praise the Day, and Can not wait until tonight. A completely new title on the album is “So much more,” a new song produced by Clueso that will be the final title song of a spring-breaking movie. The audience and the press were enthusiastic: “This voice simply picks up everyone and reaches the emotional center without detours, but never before has there been such a sound apparatus and such splendid arrangements – Mutzke gets everyone!”
