Pianist, conductor, composer and arranger, Matthieu Gonet is admitted at the age of 14 to the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. He accompanies many artists such as Johnny Hallyday, Phil Collins, Céline Dion, Liane Foly and Patrick Bruel as pianist or philharmonic orchestra conductors. He is the musical director of Xavier Gens’ feature film “Hitman”. “A Christmas tale” by Arnaud Desplechin before writing his own soundtracks in 2012: “Stop Me” by Jean-Paul Lilienfeld and “Dead Man Talking” by Patrick Ridremont. Matthieu Gonet meets Alain Chabat for his new comedy “Santa & Cie” and succeeds Philippe Chany, Frédéric Talgorn and Bruno Coulais in the filmography of the director.
