Chiaroscuro is a term from fine art, the skillful play of the artist with light and shadow, giving the figures on the canvas volume. Guitarist Ladislav Pazdera named his solo album with this term. Well, a certain relationship between the painter’s work and those sound canvases that Ladislav presented in the album Chiaroscuro can be seen. And this, of course, is the merit of a talented musician.Ladislav Pazdera was born in the Czech city of Pardubice in 1989. His parents had nothing to do with music, however, they believed that Ladislav himself and his sisters should receive a musical education. Initially, Ladislav studied the violin, then switched to the viola, and at the age of 12 finally decided on the guitar. After graduating from the Conservatory in Pardubice, he continued his studies in Dresden, where one of his teachers was Rintko Dirks, who years later took part in the recording of the album Chiaroscuro. Today, Pazdera is a sought–after and well-known musician who is highly appreciated by music critics.
