‘Rockin’ the Blues’ comes from the album, “Howlin’ Wolf, Rockin’ the Blues Live in Germany 1964”. This was recorded live in 1964 concert in Bremen, Germany and has been issued and reissued numerous times. This time around this is a 2003 release.Chester Arthur Burnett, the Howlin’ Wolf, was in his mid-fifties when he recorded this concert and he was still at the top of his game. His band is right there with him the entire time…and Willie Dixon’s arranging and production is worthy.
