In the week that completes his 80 years of age, Roberto Menescal launches his new album “”Bossa Nova Meets The Beatles”, by Deck” the disc brings 11 mega hits of the British group in abrasive versions recreated by this genius of bossa nova on guitar. Produced by Carlos Coelho, guitarist of Biquini Cavadão, the CD features the Rio singer Claudio Duarte, invited to interpret the chosen songs.The album features some special appearances, including Bruno Gouveia (Biquini Cavadão), who shares vocals with Claudio on “She Loves you”. Andy Summers, former guitarist of the Police, performs solo on “Yesterday” and Andy Timmons plays guitar on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. New York band Baylen appear on vocals on”With a Little Help from my Friends”.
