In 1973, the local band El Roacho played at the Assembly Center with Three Dog Night. Robert Chitwood (also known as Buster Lee Bethune), John Hoff, Hugh Laravea, Jim Burnett, Edd O. Lively, and Curtis Massey were musicians from Atoka, Tulsa, and Fort Worth. They had just released “The Best of El Roacho’s Biggest Hits” on Columbia Records.
